Andrew McMahon: my thank you note.

One of the most influential people in my life. The way he has the ability to put words together shatters my expectations of what music should sound like and what it should be written about. There is something to be said for the way I feel when I listen to any of his songs whether it be Jack’s Mannequin, or Something Corporate or Andrew McMahon into the Wilderness. There is nothing more amazing to me than the way he pairs words together that create such a chemical reaction in my brain which is more cosmically wonderful than any other artist I have ever listened to. attending the Jack’s Mannequin 10 years in transit concert might have been ranked as one of the top moments of my life, the experience was raw and real and beautiful and honest and so much fun. He has such a talent and such positive vibes that leaving there I felt like I could take on the whole world. I just want to say thank you to him, because he is a huge reason as to why I write and keep writing and why I believe that life is beautiful even when its ugly.
